PRESS RELEASE

Cincinnati, Ohio- March 31,  2015

On April 3rd “A Holiday for Heroes” will be hosting “Battle of the Badge” a police vs. firefighter boxing event at Turfway Park.  “A Holiday for Heroes” is a non-profit organization based in Burlington, Kentucky that supports the families of our local military and first responders.  Each year “A Holiday for Heroes” gives out scholarships to local high school seniors that have been effected by the war on terror. In 2015 “A Holiday for Heroes” is expanding and will be raising funds for educational scholarships and support grants for the families of our local police officers and firefighters that have been injured or killed in the line of duty.  “Battle of the Badge” will put local Police Officers and Firefighters to the test while raising the funds necessary to complete our mission.  “A Holiday for Heroes”, Chas Seligman, Budweiser, Rozzi’s, and Turfway Park invite you to spend an evening supporting your local heroes while supporting a great cause.  Please feel free to contact me, Mitch Kotzbauer with any questions you might have, I can be reached at 859-743-0049 or mkotzbauer@twc.com.

****A Holiday for Heroes is proud to announce that we will be naming our annual scholarship “The Daryl Gordon Memorial Scholarship”.  Daryl Gordon served the Tri-State for over 30 years and it is our belief that his legacy of giving should be continued for years to come.

Mitch Kotzbauer – Director of Operations – A Holiday for Heroes

I received tickets to attend this event to share with my readers. As always my opinion is 100% my own.
