I had the opportunity to review the Chicken Soup for the Soul: Inspiration for the Young at Heart book, and the timing of this review couldn’t have come at a better time. With the holidays approaching many of us struggle for to find that extra gift, or even just an inspirational gift for a parent, or elder and this book meets all of those perfectly.

Like all Chicken Soup for the Soul books, its uplifting and filled with many inspirational short stories. In this particular book the stories only embrace the aging process, that love can be found at an advance age and even starting over can be exactly what is needed at times.

After reading this book, it seems that life even at a mature age can feel like its just beginning. A few of the lessons I took from this book is that age should never stop us from growing or experiencing life, and mostly never stop living. We should always be open to all possibilities especially in our later years.

My girls are growing up so fast and before I know they will be TEENAGERS!! Yikes! Any advice at this point to help me and my hubby prepare for 3 teenagers, is welcome. Books, online and friends & Family advice will be used on a daily basis. Books being my starting point! So here is one book that I just recently read that is helping me with the process of moving from tweens to teens! After reading this book, Chicken Soup for the Soul: Just for Teenagers: 101 Stories of Inspiration and Support for Teens, I feel a little more in tune with my inner teenager!

Chicken Soup for the Soul: Just for Teenagers: 101 Stories of Inspiration and Support for Teens is a newly released book from Chicken Soup, who we all know and love dearly! This book offers inspiration and support to teenagers, everything from helping them cope with death, setting goals, making new friends, puppy love and lots more! Helping your teenager understand that they are not alone and that becoming an adult is a process and takes a lot of growing up!

I think story #59 was a story that stuck with me! Little Bit was a story from a teenaged boy who had saved a cat from the harsh winter and quickly found a best friend. They did everything together, spent all their time together and just truely counted on each other. As the boy started getting older, her found less and less time for his best friend and before he knew his friend was gone. He talks about how he felt knowing that he had let his friend down by letting everyday tasks get in the way of their friendship!

These stories share what other teenagers have been through, how they dealt with it and may give your teenager insight on how to deal with their own problems!
