Black Friday Tips + $1000 Shopping Spree from RetailMeNot

Are you heading out for Black Friday this year? Here are some hints that will help you make your Black Friday shopping trip a little more fun and successful:

  • Have a Plan & a List- Black Friday ads are already starting to leak, so check them out as they become available and keep a list of the store, the hours they are open and the items with prices you want! This way you can map out a plan to hit what stores at what times for what items! This will keep you on track with time and budget as well as keeping you sane during this crazy shopping day!
  • Arrive On Time With a Buddy: Lines start forming at most stores several hours before they are scheduled to open, especially if there are a lot of hot deals! Make sure you arrive early enough to get a great place in line and bring a  buddy to not only keep you company but to also grab items you need! Last year I took a friend that was not planning on shopping at all for Black Friday but wanted to come hang out with me while I shopped! So I gave her items to grab so that we could get through the stores quicker as well as making sure I didn’t miss out on items I wanted!!
  • Shop Online: Even though I still tend to buy more items on Black Friday, I have to touch it before I buy kinda girl, I am quickly learning that there are many deals to be found online. RetailMeNot has some great coupon codes and special savings that keeps me saving online just as much as dealing with the craziness of Black Friday!

Looking for the latest Coupon Codes or Online Promotions check RetailMeNot! Right now you can enter to win a $1000 shopping spree when you watch and share their Pumpkin Headed Turkey Claus Video! Winners picked weekly!

Based on an original idea by:                 Tim Burton

From creative genius Tim Burton (“Alice in Wonderland,” The Nightmare Before Christmas”) comes “Frankenweenie,” a heartwarming tale about a boy and his dog. After unexpectedly losing his beloved dog Sparky, young Victor harnesses the power of science to bring his best friend back to life—with just a few minor adjustments. He tries to hide his home-sewn creation, but when Sparky gets out, Victor’s fellow students, teachers and the entire town all learn that getting a new “leash on life” can be monstrous.

A stop-motion animated film, “Frankenweenie” was filmed in black and white and rendered in 3D, which elevates the classic style to a whole new experience.

In Tim Burton’s “Frankenweenie” young Victor conducts a science experiment to bring his beloved dog Sparky back to life, only to face unintended, sometimes monstrous, consequences.

NOTES:

  • When Tim Burton originally conceived the idea for “Frankenweenie,” he envisioned it as a full-length, stop-motion animated film. Due to budget constraints, he instead directed it as a live-action short, released in 1984.
  • “Frankenweenie” follows in the footsteps of Tim Burton’s other stop-motion animated films “Corpse Bride” and “The Nightmare Before Christmas”—both of which were nominated for Academy Awards®.
  • Over 200 puppets and sets were created for the film.
  • The voice cast includes four actors who worked with Burton on previous films: Winona Ryder (“Beetlejuice,” “Edward Scissorhands”), Catherine O’Hara (“Beetlejuice,” “The Nightmare Before Christmas”), Martin Short (“Mars Attacks!”) and Martin Landau (“Ed Wood,” Sleepy Hollow”).
  • Classic horror films inspired several of the character names.

Halloween Tote Just $2 each

Halloween will be here before you know it and that means your little ghosts and goblins will be thinking about costumes and candy. Why not kick off the holiday season with custom treat bags your kids can easily create online? Order this new, brighter reusable tote now and you’ll get this Eco-friendly creation at a special price of just $2 each – that’s less than a bag of sweets!

Getting started early in the season means you’ll not only save money, but that you’ll also save the hassle of last minute holiday rush charges. Your kids will feel like an artist when they get to design their own treat bag that they will proudly call their own year after year – just like a Christmas stocking.

Encourage your kids to get creative with their totes by designing a bag that includes a spooky design or their monster name for the night. You can even use the same colors from your kids’ costumes so their totes will match perfectly on fright night. If you’re bringing your four-legged friend, don’t forget a bag for Fido (a.k.a. Fang-do) to carry home his own pet-friendly treats!

These new brighter, customizable tote bags are the perfect Halloween accessory for your little ghosts and witches. After trick or treating, these bags can fold up into a convenient, space-saving size that fits neatly anywhere. This year, skip the clunky plastic orange pumpkins, and make your Halloween a screaming success with affordable totes for the whole family.

Shipping Starts At: $5.52
