With summer heat keeping the kiddos hot and bored, we thought we would figure out something to keep them cool and re-use something from our recycle bin! We saw this on Pinterest last summer and thought we would try it out!
We took a 2 liter bottle, cleaned it out and then removed the plastic from the outside. Take a knife and poke a few holes all around the mid to bottom of the bottle, we them added an old hose to the top and hung it from the tree. Turn the water on and let it go! Water went everywhere giving our girls a fun day in the water without breaking the bank!
My hubby told me this is the most hillbilly thing he has ever seen me make, but hey when it is FREE and keeps the kiddos happy, I don’t mind being hillbilly!
