Have you ever wanted to re-do a room, but didn’t have a lot of time, money or creativity? Well now you can re-do a room on a budget and get as creative as you want without a lot of work! I recently got to pick out a Vinyl Decal from Right On The wall for our oldest daughter’s bedroom! We search through there many wall decals to find this super cute bird with a few twigs and our daughter’s name! She was so excited that we not able were able to personalize it but we could make it any color she wanted!!
Here is our daughter’s newly painted pink wall ( I know I need a new camera). We had just recently painted the walls so they were fresh and clean! If you haven’t painted in a while, then you will want to make sure you wipe down the walls and make sure they are clean! You can see exact installation on Right On The Wall.
Peel the back layer of the design and place on the wall. I used a few pieces of masking tape to hold the design in place.
Use the scrapping tool to make sure the design is good and stuck to the wall, this will also ensure there are no bubbles underneath.
You will start to pull off the paper slowly and it will leave the design behind!
Make sure to go slow, especially if you have small thin lines like ours. You could easily tear these if you pull to quickly!
Here is the final look, our daughter absolutely loves it and thinks she has the coolest room ever!
If you ever decide to remove the decal use a pair of tweezers or your fingernail to start removing from the corner, pulling at an angle to remove and reuse in another room! This is great to be able to create a new look for a room but still be able to remove it at any time!
