I had the opportunity to review the Chicken Soup for the Soul: Inspiration for the Young at Heart book, and the timing of this review couldn’t have come at a better time. With the holidays approaching many of us struggle for to find that extra gift, or even just an inspirational gift for a parent, or elder and this book meets all of those perfectly.

Like all Chicken Soup for the Soul books, its uplifting and filled with many inspirational short stories. In this particular book the stories only embrace the aging process, that love can be found at an advance age and even starting over can be exactly what is needed at times.

After reading this book, it seems that life even at a mature age can feel like its just beginning. A few of the lessons I took from this book is that age should never stop us from growing or experiencing life, and mostly never stop living. We should always be open to all possibilities especially in our later years.
