With 4 girls in our house we tend to use a lot of hair care products! Brushes, barrettes, hair spray, curling irons, blow dryers, etc. I had never really considered a flat iron until our oldest daughter received a great hair cut from a friend of ours, at Bangz. While our friend was styling our oldest daughter’s hair she used a flat iron. My daughter fell in love! For hours after her hair cut she continued to feel her hair and ask everyone we saw, “Do you like my hair?” So getting the opportunity to try one out for our-self, was something our daughter thought was super cool!
When I first received the 2500 Ionic Charger 1″ Flat Iron from Barbar Hair Tools, I thought it looked sleek and like something I had seen at the salon! Fit very well in my hand, very easy to use and I love the digital settings- looks high tech! I was actually a little scared to use it, I know, I’m weird. But I have never used a flat iron before so I really had no idea what I was doing. But within a few minutes I was able to flatten our daughter’s hair with no problem.
After my daughter takes her shower she always brushes her hair and then goes to bed. She use to think because it looks like this (below, 1st picture) that it will stay like till the morning. But needless to say it gets wavy and poofy by time the morning comes. And using a rubberband to hold it back just leaves a mark across her hair where the rubberband sat all night.
So she has started to dry her hair at night, but as you can see (below) it gets very large and unmanageable. And then come morning she was using a curling iron to try and make it look a little less, ahhh big, but usually seemed to still be large, but now with a curl! Her hair is thick but has a mind of it’s own when it comes to styling.
So we used the 2500 Ionic Charger 1″ Flat Iron and as you can see below, her hair became very silky and smooth. She had that same grin on her face when she got her hair cut and styled! I was truly impressed with how easy it was to use the flat iron and the end result was amazing!
I do have to say that one of my favorite feature on this flat iron is the swivel cord. I have a curling iron that does not have that feature and seeing the difference makes me want to throw out anything without it. Playing around with the girls hair was made simple with the swivel cord feature. No more stopping to un-roll, these are the little things that make my day!
