I love getting packages in the mail, but I have to say I love getting packages in the mail for me! Especially ones that make me feel pretty and smell good! So the other day I received a sample of Heidi Klum Shine Fragrance from Meijer, and I was super excited! I absolutely love trying new fragrances but I do have a pretty particular type of fragrances I like. I am not a huge fan of overpowering smells, nothing too fruity or too manly! I love smelling like a clean, fresh women but with a touch of sweet and sexy!
When I opened the box of the Heidi Klum Shine fragrance, the first thing I noticed was the bottle. I liked the oval shape of it with the embellished crystal waves. After opening the bottle and taking in my first smell of this fragrance, I was quite impressed. This fragrance is not too fruity or overwhelming. I then wore it for the day while we did our normal back to school shopping and running of the errands. Windows were down and not once did I hear from the kiddos that I stunk (which has happened before with a fruity body spray I once wore!!) After several hours, we returned home to meet my husband from work and he noticed the fragrance in about 5 minutes! He said that he actually liked it and it was not too strong. That is one thing I have a hard time with when finding a fragrance I love. Either it is too strong and chokes everyone that is around me or within an hour the scent is gone. So I was loving that after 4-5 hours the scent was still there and was not overpowering. I have to say this Heidi Klum Shine will now be a addition to my perfume collection!
The best part is that you don’t have to head to your local department store and pay the high price tag that normally comes with a quality fragrance.
