How long has it been since you and your “other half” were on a date? Seems like everyone is cutting back their spending and trying to save more. But it is so important that we continue some things like spending quality time with our significant other. Not only do we deserve it, we NEED it! Madame Deals and Living on Love and Cents have teamed up to bring you Dating on a Dime. Go here to see the previous posts. This week Amee has a great idea she calls “Whole Paycheck.”
We affectionately refer to Whole Foods as Whole Paycheck. I have to say they have the best gourmet food around. I used to go there at lunch time and snack. I know gasp but they have the most amazing samples. I also had a son with allergies so they are the place to shop when you have a special diet. You can coupon shop there and save money. I found the best way to save money is to buy one or two special items to jazz up your meals.
When I am doing date night at home. I run in and grab something fancy to make my meal special. I say pretend we are somewhere fancy. I bought their seafood gazpacho and made a huge salad with fresh bread and a gourmet dessert. I think if you grab something gourmet and have dinner at home you can save a lot of money. The meal we had was under $20 and the company was priceless.
